The Canadian company Solmax, known for the production of geotextiles, has announced that it will close its work in Linz until the end of 2024. This gives Linz AG the opportunity to take over the area that extends over an area of over 50,000 square meters and is located in Schachermayerstrasse near the chemical park and the tank port. Linz AG has completed the purchase for around 35 million euros, which is seen as a strategic opportunity for the city of Linz and the development of the existing infrastructure.
