On August 23, 2025, the third wet extinguishing competition took place in Oberneukirchen, Upper Austria. The event belonged to the district classification and attracted numerous participants and spectators. Active groups, including guests from the Rohrbach district, competed against each other in a total of 51 competition runs. This type of competition is the goal of promoting the performance and teamwork of the fire brigades.

The commander of the Oberneukirchen fire brigade, HBI Ing. Jakob Burgstaller, welcomed numerous visitors at the award ceremony, including the mayor and member of the state parliament in Dipl. Josef Rahtgeb as well as several high -ranking fire brigade representatives, such as district fire brigade commander OBR Ing. Johannes Enzenhofer and section fire department commander Br Ing. The Oberneukirchen volunteer fire brigade was praised for the excellent implementation of the competition.
