In a shocking incident in Augsburg, a 61-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, after he was caught in a supermarket on Neuburger Strasse while shop theft! It is an outrageous brazen deed in which the older gentleman several goods hid in his backpack and simply passed the business output - without paying a cent!
At 9:30 a.m., an attentive employee of the supermarket noticed the insolent action and stopped the perpetrator. The police were immediately alerted. The value of the stolen goods? In the low three -digit range, but that would have bitter episodes for the senior!
Arrest warrant
At the request of the Augsburg public prosecutor, the man was quickly brought up to a judge at the district court. The consequence? An arrest warrant for theft, which was immediately enforced. The 61-year-old is now in a correctional facility and has to deal with the serious consequences of his actions.
