On April 27, 2025, the Vienna municipal council and district representative elections are pending, and preparations for this are in full swing. Logistics and preparation

Currently around 2,800 election cells (including 1,200 barrier -free), 1,100 election gymnastics, 3,000 tables, 5,500 armchairs, 200 partitions and 20 ramps are in progress.
All required materials are checked and cleaned, and defective election cells are repaired. The transport of the election documents begins on Tuesday before the election and is expected to be completed on Wednesday after the election. Up to 32 trucks are used at peak times to bring the necessary materials into the polling stations.
