Christmas in Lochau: Celebrate together against loneliness!

The Kepp family from Lochau is once again inviting you to their popular Christmas party “Together instead of alone” on December 24th. The event, which was originally launched in 2019, takes place in the Austriahaus and is warmly welcome to everyone: singles, couples, families and friends are invited from 6 p.m. to celebrate Christmas Eve together. “Whether you are alone or in company, everyone is welcome,” explains Claudia Kepp. Preparations are already in full swing, and this year there will once again be an inviting program with Christmas songs, the Christmas story and a festive buffet. Due to its great popularity, you are asked to register in advance by December 22nd, but spontaneous visitors are also warmly invited VOL.AT reported.

Strokes of fate and new perspectives

This initiative is particularly noteworthy because Claudia Kepp has had to deal with several serious accidents in the last three years. From a fall down the stairs to bicycle accidents in Italy and Lochau, she had to struggle with injuries and pain for many months. These experiences have taught her to make the best of every situation. Despite the challenges, Kepp remains determined and helpful by thinking about others even in their personal misfortune. “I look here, not away,” she emphasizes, and that shows in her ongoing commitment to the community VN.at notes.

This year's Christmas not only aims to combat loneliness, but also supports the charity Hour of the Heart. Visitors are invited to get actively involved through donations or home-baked cakes and salads. Ultimately, the message is clear: no one should be alone on Christmas Eve, and everyone can be part of this special evening. “The children’s eyes sparkled last year,” remembers Kepp, impressed. A sign of hope and community in difficult times!
