22-year-old Kilian Feurstein from Dornbirn made a name for himself in international cycling with his strong appearance on the U23 tour of Tour de L’Avenir. On the second stage of the competition, which included a distance of 136 kilometers, he reached an impressive 45.8 km/h and secured ninth place. In this way, he improved in the overall ranking to 29th place and is the second best Austrian in the race. Loud Vol.at Feurstein was part of a 19-member top group that finished 2:27 minutes.

The current edition of the Tour de l’Avenir marks the 59. For men and the first for women.
