Groundbreaking ceremony for new building: Langenrohr receives modern living space!
The groundbreaking ceremony for the large construction project on Alois-Ginsthoferstrasse took place in Langenrohr meinkreis.at reported. 29 new apartments are to be built on a community site, divided into different sizes and including an underground car park. What is particularly noteworthy is that 17 of these apartments are intended for “assisted living”, while the remaining twelve are offered for rent. The entire project is scheduled to be completed in 2026 and after a useful life of 50 years, the building will become the property of the municipality. Those interested already have the opportunity to find out about available apartments from the Alpenland housing cooperative.
Redesign of the town center is being planned
In addition to this construction project, there are considerations for redesigning the area east of the residential building up to Josef Reitherstrasse. How Langrohr.at reports, a working group has been set up to focus intensively on the climate-friendly and modern planning of a new town center. Particular attention is paid to creating a center that is not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. In 2027, Langenrohr will also celebrate 100 years of market survey, which represents a further motivational boost for the future-oriented development of the community.
