Drunken driver escapes to horror crash in Alpbach!

On Monday, August 26, 2025, there was a spectacular accident in Alpbach in the Kufstein district, in which a drunk driver raced into a steep field and then fled from the scene of the accident. According to oe24.at in the morning by a 20-year-old was spotted both a damaged fence and tire traces. These led to the heavily damaged vehicle that was hidden between trees in a nearby forest.

The police were alerted and was able to contact the 40-year-old driver by phone. When the following personal contact was made, it turned out that it was under considerable influence of alcohol. Fortunately, nobody was injured, but the property damage to the vehicle is enormous and was classified as total damage. The exact circumstances of the accident are currently still the subject of investigations.
