On Sunday night, shortly after 11 p.m., a 49-year-old man was brutally attacked! On Johannisplatz there was a heated argument between him and two unknown perpetrators, which shockingly ended in a physical attack. The reason for the conflict remains obscure, but the consequences are clear: the man was injured and the attackers quickly disappeared into the night.
Witnesses urgently sought
The unknown suspects, described as wearing dark clothing and speaking a local dialect, ran off and Jena police are now asking the public for help. Anyone who has seen something or can provide information about the perpetrators should contact us immediately on 03641 810 or by email to id.lpi.jena@polizei.thueringen.de.
