An incredible scandal now shakes the police: a 55-year-old officer illegally deletes 29 times radar data over two years! In August 2024, around 35,600 people were injured, which means an increase of 6 % compared to the previous year. The number of traffic fats rose by 14 to a total of 281. Despite a decline in the registered accidents, the situation remains worrying. In the period from January to August 2024, the authorities counted a total of 1.6 million road traffic accidents, including 192,000 with personal injury, in which 1,837 people had to die, such as Destatis announced.
