In the early morning hours of November 14, 2024, at 2.29 a.m., Düsseldorf Garath became the scene of a dramatic fire! A coach was on fire in a parking lot on Frankfurter Strasse and ensured a large -scale operation by the fire brigade. When the first emergency services arrived, the inferno was already in full swing and the flames had spread to the loading area of a neighboring truck. A real nightmare for the firefighters!
The fire brigade reacted with several extinguishing ears at lightning speed and was able to control the fire quickly. Thanks to the courageous use of around 70 firefighters, including volunteers, a further spread of the fire to other parked vehicles was prevented. Fortunately, there were no injuries, but the post -extinguishing work dragged on for two hours, which strongly called for the emergency services. As a precaution, an employee of the urban environmental office was consulted to ensure that all environmental impacts are taken into account.
