Nienburg.The anticipation of the festive time increases! On November 18, the Christmas market on Langen Strasse opens, followed by the Advent magic at the church, which begins on November 29. Here visitors can dive into a world full of Christmas treats, drinks and handmade works of art!

The Christmas market is moving this year! Instead of at the usual place, there is a festive hustle and bustle on the Langen Straße, as construction work is due there. The booths on Langen Straße are open daily until December 23, and the Advent magic event on Kirchplatz runs until December 23. Visitors can look forward to a colorful program that extends from live music to festive stands.

Opening times and attractions

The booths on the market square are open Monday to Thursday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Fridays from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. On the church square, the Holzbudenstadt remains closed Monday to Thursday, while it opens on Fridays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. A special highlight will be the ice rink, which is also built on the church square and is open from Tuesday to Sunday.

On December 13, the moonlight shopping will take place, where the shops are open until 10 p.m. In addition, visitors can expect the 10th Nienburg model exhibition in the town hall and on the second weekend in Advent on the first weekend in Advent. After the holidays, the Advent magic transformed into a winter magic with other attractions from December 27th to 29th!
