BRICS vs. Dollar: Is the US currency falling like the British Empire once did?

Like it or not, the de-dollarization agenda set in motion by the BRICS alliance is unstoppable! While the US dollar remains at the forefront despite numerous global challenges, the pressing question is: how long can it hold off its opponents? Anyone who takes a look into the past will realize that nothing lasts forever. The British Empire once ruled with the famous saying: “The sun never sets on the Empire.” But suddenly the sun had set and today Britain is struggling with financial difficulties, while its former colony India, a BRICS member, has overtaken the country with a robust economy!

The BRICS countries have confirmed that de-dollarization is a long-term goal. The longer this fight goes on, the greater the chances of displacing the US dollar from its status as a reserve currency. What the never-ending wars once meant for the British Empire could now also happen to the USA. The BRICS bank, officially called the New Development Bank, has made it clear that these efforts are not a short-term goal. “Developing alternatives is more of a medium- to long-term proposition,” Leslie Maasdorp, vice president of the New Development Bank, told Fortune.

BRICS pushes, USA under pressure!

The White House faces an enormous challenge! The BRICS alliance is not giving up on its ambition to displace the dollar. Although the US is currently still able to fend off these challenges, that does not mean that the dollar is unassailable. If the US wants to successfully combat the challenges posed by BRICS, it must not ignore the moves of the “enemy” but must remain vigilant and ready to meet the expected pressures.
