Housing Tower Dresdner Straße: New construction project inspires Brigittenau
In the Brigittenau, a district in Vienna, an impressive living tower is being built, which already shapes the skyline with its 29 floors and a height of around 80 meters. The S+B Group AG, which is behind this project together with the construction company Strabag and the investor Greystar, recently celebrated the achievement of the construction progress. Wolfdieter Jarisch, the board of S+B Group AG, was pleased that the building grows up perfectly and ensures the formative changes in the area.
The residential tower, which is built at Dresdner Straße 90, will not only consist of 262 free -financed apartments, but also accommodate 120 Serviced apartments in the socket area. Future residents can look forward to private freedom in the form of loggias or balconies and are also equipped with numerous amenities. On the roof of the base there will be a green roof terrace including playground and a closed pavilion, which creates a pleasantly designed common area.
Extensive range of offers
In addition to the living rooms, parking spaces with e-charging stations and around 440 bicycle parking spaces will be available. This is particularly relevant because the project was designed in an area that offers an excellent connection to the urban cycle path network. The public transport connections, such as the S-Bahn station Traisengasse and the Dresdner Straße subway station, are only a few minutes' walk away, so that a high quality of life is guaranteed.
Environmental friendliness also plays a major role in this building. The "DS 90" is built in low energy and is connected to the Viennese district heating network. Innovative techniques such as component activation are used to temper and heating. In addition, a photovoltaic system is installed on the roof, which will contribute to the sustainable energy supply of the building.
Maximilian Herbst, director of development in Germany and Austria at Greystar, emphasized how important the Vienna location is for its international company. The project represents an important part of their diversified portfolio and shows that they can also act successfully in Vienna.
With the completion of the residential tower by mid -2025, it will be interesting to see what further developments will arise in the Brigittenau. The project is exemplary for the dynamic development of the housing market in Vienna and the growing demand for modern living solutions.
