On May 25, 2025, some decisions in Vorarlberg's lower house football have already been made, three match days before the end of the 2024/2025 season. The championship and relegation positions have become clear in several leagues. Spectators can expect exciting promotions and relegations in the coming weeks.

In theElite LeagueFC Sohm Alberschwende is marked as a relegated team and has to be relegated to the Vorarlbergliga. The situation in theVorarlberg Leagueshows a new champion: the merchant Bausysteme FC Bizau has won the title. At the same time, SC Elektro Graf Hatlerdorf and blum FC Höchst have to be relegated to the state league.

Preparation for the coming season

There are already some changes in the works for the coming seasonsVorarlberg Leagueannounced. Six new teams will take part in the 2024/25 season after four teams were relegated from the elite league. This affects Andelsbuch, Hörbranz, Höchst and Austria Lustenau Amateurs. Two teams, Sulz and Hatlerdorf, achieved promotion from the regional league. In total, the Vorarlbergliga will consist of 14 teams, and the forecasts for the new season are difficult due to the many new teams.

The anticipation of the new season is also fueled by the Vorarlberg Football Association who has published a book to celebrate the association's 100th anniversary. The work comprises over 600 pages and documents the history and development of football in Vorarlberg from its beginnings in the 1890s to the present.
