Last weekend there was a massive traffic chaos on Gaisberg when over 120 cars parked at the summit with only 55 parking spaces available. As a result, the public Gaisbergbus no longer got through, as the citizen list (Greens in the City of Salzburg) reports. The sunny weather attracted numerous visitors, while there was a dense fog in the lower areas. A warning call from Citizens' List Councilor Lukas Bernitz drew attention to the critical situation when he found the chaotic parking relationships through the live webcam.

In view of this incident, the Greens demand that the Gaisbergbus 151 will run in the future on weekends and public holidays every 22 minutes instead of the regular 45-minute cycle.
