New school center in Obdach: A modern home for our children
A new school center was recently opened in Obdach with a comprehensive concept that combines a daycare center, kindergarten, elementary school and music school. With a total investment of over ten million euros, the project shows how modern educational institutions can be designed. mayorPeter Bacherstated at the opening that the focus was on the children and that the celebration was organized by them themselves.
The role of the students was particularly impressive, as the third graders took over the moderationSarah and Ida, who led the event excellently. Bacher described the school center as a “vision come true,” noting that such a comprehensive facility doesn’t often open in one day. The kindergarten, which was inaugurated a few years ago, now complements the overall package.
Modern design and equipment
A total of 7.5 million euros flowed into the current project area, while the kindergarten cost an additional 3 million euros.Harald Gierer, the project's builder, reported on the numerous hours invested in the negotiations and implementation of the project. Not only were modern classrooms created, but the infrastructure was also optimized; A new bioheat system was installed, a photovoltaic system was set up, and the building is now prepared against a possible blackout.

The crèche directorElfi Binderbauermade it clear that the construction work wasn't always easy, but the children still had a lot of fun looking at the construction equipment.
