The First FC Vienna women's team made an impressive comeback in the game against SpG Südburgenland/Hartberg, recording their first win and their first goals of the season ADMIRAL Women's Bundesliga celebrated. After an opening defeat against SKN St. Pölten, the players won 8:3 in the second round.

The game started in the 5th minute when Alina Kerschbaumer scored the first goal of the game. Just seven minutes later, Anna Osl made it 2-0 with a penalty. SpG Südburgenland/Hartberg was able to reduce the deficit with a free kick from Lilla Sipos in the 17th minute, but the Viennese women remained unimpressed and increased the lead to 5-1 by halftime with goals from Ines Gabriela Sarac (24th), Hannah Fankhauser (40th) and Patricia Pfanner (45th).

Goal-filled encounter

After halftime, Natalie Wagner made it 2:5 in the 54th minute, but the Viennese team didn't let up. Isabell Schneiderhauer increased to 6:2 shortly afterwards, followed by Lara Höcherl, who made it 7:2. Gabriella Rozmis made it 8-2 in the 82nd minute before Sarac's second goal in the 86th minute made the final score 9-2.

The ADMIRAL Women's Bundesliga, the highest women's football league in Austria, has constantly developed since its founding in 2002 and is now a platform through which the country's best players can show off their skills. SKN St. Pölten has been particularly dominant in the last decade, winning a total of ten league titles from 2015 to 2025, while the past is marked by teams like SV Neulengbach, who won twelve league titles in a row from 2003 to 2014.
