The most exciting newcomers include New Zealander Liam Lawson at Red Bull and the 18-year-old Italian Andrea Kimi Antonelli at Mercedes. Oliver Bearman (Haas), Jack Doohan (Alpine), Isack Hadjar (Racing Bulls) and Gabriel Bortoleto (Sauber) are also among the remarkable talents who want to prove themselves this season crown reported.
Antonelli, who skipped Formula 3 after remarkable performances in European junior series and already caused a sensation in Formula 2, is receiving particular attention. Team boss Toto Wolff was convinced of Antonelli's maturity and emphasized that no one expects top performance immediately. In contrast to this is Lawson, who has to assert himself alongside four-time world champion Max Verstappen. The 23-year-old already has experience, having scored six championship points in eleven races for AlphaTauri and RB, explains Verstappen.com.
