Healthy communities in the Kirchdorf district: honor and exercise in focus

The district meeting of the healthy communities in the Kirchdorf district took place last Tuesday in Edlbach. Over 40 participants came together to find out about current health issues and programs that were presented by the health department of the state of Upper Austria. The evening shone not only through informative presentations, but also through the honor of long -standing volunteers.

The regional supervisor Silvia Gürtenhofer highlighted the value of volunteer work in the healthy communities of the district. They recalled important projects such as the "healthy cuisine" and the "moving afternoon", which play a role at the regular meetings and help to strengthen awareness of health in the district.

Honors for commitment

As part of the event, numerous working group leaders and heads were honored for their merits. Anja Ranzenmayr from the healthy community of St. Pankraz, who has been working for five years, and Mayor Kurt Pawluk from Roßleithen, who can also look back on five years of engagement, should be particularly noteworthy. Gabriela Meunier, Daniela Lugmayr and Gabriele Grassnigg were honored for 15 years, while Vice Mayor Adelheid Mitterhuber and the mayors Katharina Seebacher and Maria Benedetter celebrated their 20th anniversary.

The meeting ended with a lecture by Andrea Weiß, who dealt with the topic "The Mental Hedicine Pharmacy". The musical contribution of the "Kaputzen musicians" gave the evening a solemn note and served as a successful conclusion for the participants.
