Discover the stars: Supergalactic weekend in Peuerbach

PEUERBACH.An exciting event is coming up at the castle museum in Peuerbach that will delight both young and old. On the occasion of the “Supergalactic Family Weekend”, visitors can discover the fascinating world of astronomy on Saturday, November 16th and Sunday, November 17th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission to the guided tours that take you through the exhibition and the cometor is an excellent opportunity for families to learn more about topics such as asteroids, comets, meteors, shooting stars and the northern lights. On Sunday, the tours will specifically address these questions and are suitable for both adults and children aged six and over.

Astronomy course and telescope observations

A special attraction of the weekend is the astronomy course, which takes place on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the castle museum. The Salzkammergut Astronomical Working Group will provide participants with exciting information about the starry sky. This is an ideal way to better understand the night under the stars.

Weather permitting, telescope observations are planned from 7 p.m., giving visitors the opportunity to experience the stars up close. Anyone interested is asked to contact us in advance info@astronomie.at Register to secure a place.
