On Wednesday November 13th there are a few different cultural events taking place in the region. The book “Lower Austria in the 18th Century” will be presented in Spitz Castle at 5 p.m. [^1^]. This is a work that offers a comprehensive insight into the era between the Ottoman War of 1683 and the death of Emperor Joseph II in 1790. The book was published in the “History of Lower Austria” series published by the Lower Austrian State Archives and contains 36 articles on over 1,500 pages. On the same day there will also be a book presentation at the Haus der Kunst in Baden. Gabi Hasmann and Christine Triebnig-Löffler present “Erotic bathing… and the spa town beckons forever” at 7 p.m. This is a historical journey through the centuries from the medieval bathhouses to the fun of wealthy spa guests with “sweet Baden girls”. At the Center for Intercultural Encounter in Baden, the ZIB, the film “A Boy’s Life – Child Number B2826” will be shown at 6 p.m., which tells the story of the survival of a nine-year-old Lithuanian boy in six concentration camps. The play “Häuptling Abendwind” by Johann Nestroy will be performed in Wiener Neustadt at 6:30 p.m. The actor Robert Meyer takes on all male and female roles. Another highlight is the discussion in the Alte Schmiede culture and tourism center in Schönberg am Kamp. The organic winemaker Maria Wegscheider, the former state governor Erwin Pröll and the sociologist Bernd Marin discuss the topic "It's about doing".
