On June 23, 2025, the final day of the state championships in Tyrol took place, which came up with exciting competitions in various disciplines. The events stretched from Hechtsee to the Hötting West sports bowling alley. The open water swimming was dominated by outstanding performance.
Paulo Strehlke Delgado achieved a remarkable success by winning the 5 km route after he had also won the 10 km distance the day before. Florian Schumich secured the title of the first Austrian and ended the race 8.91 seconds behind Delgado. Lena Opatril defended her title for the women and won again in her competition.

In the flag football, the spectators experienced a gripping final between the Vienna Constables and the Domzale Tigers. The state championships of rhythmic gymnastics brought an exciting duel between Julia Neumann and Dina Mironskaya, who shared the title with three gold and three times silver. Lisa Vsecka also won the championship title in the cone-single classic competition, while Matthias Zatschkowitsch defended his title with the men. Alexander Farthofer shone in inline speed skating with his victory in the 10,000 meter elimination race and his fourth gold medal.

He begins in Somabay, Egypt, followed by Ibiza, Spain, Setúbal in Portugal and Golfo Aranci in Italy, although the fifth stop has not yet been announced. The series will be the 19th edition of the competition that attracts athletes from all over the world and offers exciting opportunities.
Another component in the development of the open water swimming sport is the regional open water series. This series has set itself the goal of building up the leading, independent Open Water series of Europe over nine countries under the motto "of course swimming". The series guarantees high quality, diversity and security for all participants and promotes the sustainable development of the open water scene.
