Jewish music and festivals in a larger context
The importance of Jewish music and culture is currently also emphasized by numerous festivals in Germany, such as the Jewish Kulturtage in Berlin take place. The ritual and cultural diversity of Jewish life in Germany is illuminated there and includes various music styles, literature and lectures. These festivals help to raise awareness of Jewish culture and at the same time to counter anti -Semitism.
The dome sound program in St. Pölten thus contributes to the continuation of this tradition by offering a space for the exchange and appreciation of Jewish music. The former synagogue becomes a place of encounter and intercultural dialogue and celebrates the rich history of Jewish music, which goes back to the 4th century in Germany.
tickets and information about other events are available on the website of the former synagogue and invite music enthusiasts to take part in these extraordinary concerts.
