Muggia, Italien - On June 8, 2025, the International Sprint Regatta took place in Muggia, in which a total of 12 teams from Slovenia, Croatia, Italy and Austria took part. The Klagenfurt Rowing Association Albatros achieved impressive results and won two gold medals, a silver medal and five bronze medals. The performance of Sophia Bernthaler is particularly noteworthy, who surprisingly caused a sensation at the first appearance on the Adriatic and won the competition. A promising youngster, Pauly Schönhofer from the Org St. Ursula, also achieved an impressive third place. The girls' team of the Klagenfurt Rowing Association, consisting of Antonia Pirker, Lilo Hager, Natalie Fritz and Ilvy Herrenhof (all BRG-Viktring and Org St. Ursula), could also look forward to three third places.
Despite the positive results, Albatros had to deal with materials, especially for Raphi Valentinitsch and Darius Dejhani, who had no chances in their races. However, the regatta underlined the continuous development and strong community performance of the club.
