A violent storm moves across Austria and ensures extreme weather conditions! According to current reports, the predictions are alarming: the red warning level was specified in the federal states of Lower Austria, Styria, Burgenland and Vienna. This means that the citizens have to be on the hat, because stormy gusts with speeds of up to 100 km/h can be expected. In Vienna itself, the districts of Währing, Döbling, Hernals and Ottakring are most affected, where occasionally even hurricane -like gusts can occur. Caution is required, especially in exposed locations, such as on terraces and in gardens. The storm center has already recommended to secure loose items to avoid damage. According to meinzirk.at, the wind remains strong in the afternoon, while at the same time mild temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees prevail. Despite the adverse conditions, however, the sun will also be increasingly visible. One of the most famous attractions in Vienna, the Gloriette in Schönbrunn Schlosspark, has already reacted and closed the park for visitors to avoid possible dangers from flying branches or damaged structures.
