In an important step for the rural youth in Rust, a new board began its work in October. This happened as part of the general meeting that was held in the Obritzberg municipal office at the end of October. At this meeting, not only were the new officers elected, but seven new members were also warmly welcomed.

The head of the rural youth is now Lena Hohl, who is supported in this responsible position by deputies Nina Stiefsohn and Simon Kickinger. Patrick Vogl takes over the office of chairman, a position that is associated with many tasks and challenges. Leonie Burger will take over the writing, while Lukas Vogl will act as cashier, supported by Lukasspeiser. The role of cash auditors is performed by Magdalena Stelzhammer and Christoph Stockinger, who ensure that everything is financially transparent and correct.

Guests of honor and recognition

The board was supported not only by the members of the rural youth, but also by guests of honor, including chamber chairman Anton Kaiblinger and mayor Daniela Engelhart, who sent their recognition and best wishes to the new managers. Jakob Stelzhammer from the rural youth district of Herzogenburg and Elisabeth Schabasser from the farmers' wives also joined in the words of thanks and appreciated the commitment of the new board.

These elections and the welcoming of new members are not only an indicator of the vitality of rural youth in the region, but also a step towards a promising future in which young people actively participate in shaping their community. The Rural Youth Rust once again shows how important it is to promote and integrate young voices in rural areas.
