Baby singing circle brings mothers and fathers together musically
There is a very special offer for parents and their small children in Breitenbrunn: the baby singing circle, founded by the committed Christine Rothe. The experienced educator realized that singing not only promotes the development of babies, but also strengthens the bond between parents and their little ones. In a sociable group of like-minded people, this experience becomes even more enriching.
“Singing and trying out different noises, such as rattles, tambourines or chimes, supports the development of a sense of rhythm and language,” explains Christine Rothe, who not only sings and teaches, but is also a mother herself. Promoting rhythm helps babies understand and learn language better.
A space for meeting and bonding
The singing group is also an excellent opportunity for mothers and fathers to make social contacts. “Anyone who takes part in our sessions can do something with their baby in a relaxed atmosphere without pressure and exchange ideas with other parents,” says the initiator happily. She says that when she sang, she always thought of her first child and decided to give other mothers a similar joy.
After a Corona break, Rothe brought the singing circle back to life in April 2023. The courses are intended for babies between two and 18 months and take place in a care home in Breitenbrunn. “To ensure a learning atmosphere, there can be a maximum of ten participants per group,” says Rothe. If you are interested, it is advisable to register quickly as there are currently still places available in the Thursday group. More information can be found on the website ayensi.com be found.
Particularly noteworthy is the combination of music with visual elements, as in baby sign language. “This makes it possible to link words with movements, which further supports language development,” says Rothe. Their love of music flows into every session, creating a welcoming and trusting environment where parents and babies can learn and play together.
The offer in Breitenbrunn is a valuable contribution to early childhood development and to strengthening family bonds in a social environment - a successful approach that inspires both children and parents.
