Blue Monday in Krems: FPÖ sets clear signs of security and culture!
On August 26, 2025, the traditional “Blue Monday” took place at the Wachau Volksfest in Krems, where over 1,000 visitors came together in a festive atmosphere. The marquee was well filled, and numerous fans of the FPÖ gathered outside the tent. The event included a patriotic flag feed, a beer tent atmosphere with home beer, traditional dishes and live music. State Councilor Susanne Rosenkranz opened the event and welcomed prominent guests, including FPNÖ club chairman Reinhard Teufel and NR President Walter Rosenkranz.
In their speeches, the FPÖ representatives emphasized the success of the party in Lower Austria. Walter Rosenkranz criticized the SPÖ, while MP Harald Vilimsky emphasized the strength of the FPÖ. He has sharp criticism of EU policy and was negative about social developments, especially in relation to Dragqueens in schools. Vilimsky also called for the designation of criminals and addressed the increasing cost of living.
Political demands and criticism
Udo Landbauer, the state party chairman, received great applause for his demands on government policy. He criticized the unit party and support for Ukraine. Landbauer advocated a fundamental reorganization of asylum policy and emphasized the need for security for women and children. In this context, he spoke out for a coupling of social benefits to citizenship. He emphasized that Lower Austria has the strictest rules for asylum seekers and that the number of asylum seekers in the state has decreased.
These topics are also dealt with in the upcoming state parliament session in which the FPÖ will stop the topic "Stop EU madness-fortress Europe as a guarantee of security and prosperity in Lower Austria". Club chairman Reinhard Teufel demands stricter measures to limit immigration. He criticizes the current EU asylum policy, which in his opinion is misused for illegal mass immigration, which endangers prosperity, Western culture and social peace. The increasing number of asylum would endanger the security and prosperity of citizens at the same time.
Social and health aspects
Teufel also draws attention to the social grievances that have been facing Austrians in old age for many years, who often live at the poverty line and are medically under -supplied. He also warns of the effects of migration policy, such as overcrowded hospitals, long waiting times for doctors, rising rents, overcrowded schools and an increase in crime. He also criticizes the treatment of migrants in the health system and calls for an immediate asylum stop and the return of illegal economic refugees.
Teufel also speaks against the EU migration pact and the compulsory distribution mechanism and emphasizes the need for a complete and efficient EU foreign border protection. Control instead of chaos is necessary to end the illegal migration flow.
The FPÖ's demands, which have become a central theme of the current political discussion in Lower Austria, will continue to determine the agenda in domestic politics. The event in Krems underlined this impressively.
