ASKÖ Mitternnern: Award Healthy Association for health -promoting commitment
Mittlern, Österreich - On June 14, 2025, the ASSKÖ Mitternger was presented with the "Healthy Association" award. This honor took place at the sports field in Mittern and was personally handed over by Health Councilor Beate Prettner. The association was honored for its long -standing and diverse commitment in the field of movement and health. In her speech, Prettner emphasized the crucial role that clubs play for the physical and mental health of people.
The "Healthy Association" award is awarded to organizations that promote a healthier lifestyle through continuous and targeted offers in the field of movement and prevention. Beate Prettner also informed that the sub -department of health promotion not only supports clubs financially, but also accompanies the further development of their programs. The ASKÖ Mitterngern, which has existed since 1958, has around 100 members from all age groups.
wide offer for young and old
The association offers an extensive range of health -promoting measures, which are particularly geared towards children and adolescents. The offers include trial courses in ball sports, tennis courses, summer movement camps and special courses in the motor skills park. The ASKÖ also promotes participation in refresher courses in the polysperative offer to inspire the municipality for more sports and fitness activities. The regular procurement of new training utensils is also part of the program offer.
This commitment is not only estimated locally, but also forms a component in a larger context. In March 2025, a follow -up event for the round table movement and health took place, in which various institutions, including the federal government, countries and social security institutions, were working together on measures to promote movement. Among other things, remarkable intermediate results for the implementation of the measures defined in the consensus paper were presented, which concern improved visibility and framework conditions for movement offers.
strengthening the culture of movement
A generalized approach to strengthening the culture of movement in society is the overarching goal of these efforts. The cooperation that emerged at the round table aims to increase the participation of movement offers and to bundle the information visibly for the citizens. Future networks are intended to help define priority fields of action and to set common priorities in order to further increase public attention for the topic of movement.
In summary, the award of the ASKÖ Middle is not only a sign of appreciation, but also a call to other clubs and organizations to actively participate in health promotion and prevention. The support of the country brings additional incentive to bring the citizens closer to a healthier lifestyle through creative and varied offers.Details | |
