In the middle of the challenges of Corona pandemic, Joana and Joshua Steinberg from Wetzlos, a district of Haunetal, dared to adventure their life: a motorcycle tour through Africa and Asia. Overnight stays in the tent and cooking on the open fire were part of everyday life, while they experienced the warmth of the people in the stripped countries. "The warmth runs like a thread through this adventurous motorcycle trip," said the authors in their book, which includes impressive pictures and captivating stories.

In addition to the restriction by Covid-19, the two also found that they were faced with problems of the stagnating economy in Ethiopia. So there was often no gasoline for the motorcycles and the drinking water supply was a constant challenge.
