The special starting dates for the A380 are April 27, 2025 for the Munich Route - Washington D.C. and April 28, 2025 for Munich - New York JFK. Both routes are to be operated once a day, with the flights to Washington starting at 4:30 p.m. and to New York shortly after 12:00 p.m. Previously, the A380 is used on other routes such as Bangkok and Miami. Lufthansa offers additional comfort in the A350 aircraft with the Allegris equipment.

Return of the A380 aircraft

The return of the aircraft falls together with the update of the plans to put the Airbus A380 fleet back into operation.
