Art, fun and irony: Janusz Grünspek delights Kleve with his film!

An exciting evening in the Klever cinema! Janusz Grünspek, the creative head behind the new film "Die Rooi Boss Show", presented his work in front of an enthusiastic audience. The film revolves around three fictional artists - a Poland, a German and a Dutch - and was presented by the WDR under the moderation of Ludger Kazmierczak. The atmosphere in the fully occupied cinema was electrifying when the audience dipped into the bizarre world of these invented artists.

In his film, Grünspek has museum people, friends, collectors and entrepreneurs who have a connection to these artists (of course fictional). With a creative approach, he gave the protagonists some keywords, and they were able to spontaneously fabulous about art, life and their assessments of the three characters. The representations were exaggerated and caricatured, which led to humorous and ironic moments. The variety of voices ranged from museum employees to political personalities, all of whom made their own, surprising contribution.

a spectacle full of surprises

The spectators experienced a mixture of fun and profound insights, while Grünspek brought his fictional characters to life. From Guido de Werd to Antje-Britt Mählmann, the contributions were both amusing and biting-always in the context of the invented artists. Ludger Kazmierczak aptly noticed that the texts "say a lot about our Kleve here". It remains unclear whether Grünspek sees this film as a unique performance or as the beginning of a new series. One thing is certain: his personal background - born in Poland, studied in the Netherlands and alive in Germany - is reflected in each of the characters and gives the work a special grade.
