Stabbing in Hamm: Dispute over cigarette tobacco escalates dramatically!

A dramatic dispute over cigarette tobacco has led to a shocking incident in Hamm! A 51-year-old man is now on trial for grievous bodily harm after he is said to have stabbed his roommate in the neck during a heated moment. The prosecution has filed the charges, but the defendant claims the whole story is a lie!

The incident occurred in May when the defendant says he was first attacked by his 29-year-old roommate. “He hit me three times right on the spot where I had an umbilical hernia,” the man told the court. After this attack, he briefly became unconscious and retreated to his room. But the situation escalated further when he later discovered a knife in the kitchen that his roommate had allegedly deliberately placed there.

A stab that was almost fatal

The blade penetrated deep into the 29-year-old's neck and only missed vital blood vessels by pure chance. If the artery had been hit, the victim would probably no longer be alive. Interestingly, the defendant himself called 911 after the incident, which may have saved him the charge of attempted murder. “This is documented,” explained his defense attorney Michael von Glahn.

The trial, which is continuing in Dortmund, has already caused a stir. However, the 29-year-old, who was called as a witness, did not appear in court, which further complicated the investigation. Chairman Tim Wroblweski revealed that police have already launched an investigation but no progress has been made so far. Tension remains high as the case continues to be investigated!
