At the most recent district assembly, which takes place every five years, the owner of the Glückauf pharmacy was re-elected unanimously. This decision is not only a sign of trust, but also a clear message to the citizens: Lauer is the expert who represents the pharmacists in times of pandemic and pharmacy strikes and provides important information.

Trusting responsibility

Birgit Lauer has held responsibility since 2005 as a district representative pharmacist and ensures the collegial exchange among the pharmacists. Her role is crucial because it informs the population about everything that has to do with health and pharmacies. At a time when people are more dependent on reliable information, Lauer is at the forefront to represent the interests of the Bottrop pharmacists.

But that's not all! Ulrich Werner from the Bonifatius pharmacy was confirmed as Lauer's deputy. At the age of 78, he has an impressive 46 years of experience as a trust pharmacist.
