The goal of the work is clearly defined: On October 22nd and 29th, 2024, the connecting pieces to the temporary lines that will be integrated into the district heating network are to be installed. The existing pipes are cut open and T-pieces are installed, which are also fixed by welding.
In order to protect the historic structure and prevent damage, the gravel underneath the bridge was removed. In its place, a special fleece is laid out onto which the concrete is then poured. These preparatory measures are essential to ensure the stability and integrity of the bridge during construction. In addition, the paving slabs will be stored during the work so that the structure of the building is not affected.
