Drama on the K21: Car overturns – driver injured!

On Tuesday morning, January 7, 2025, at 8:48 a.m. there was a spectacular traffic accident on the K21 between Heinsberg-Kempen and Wassenberg-Ophoven. A car overturned for no apparent reason and ended up lying on its roof on the side of the road.

According to current information, the driver, who was traveling from Kempen towards Ophoven, was involved in the solo accident. Fortunately, he only suffered minor injuries. A tow truck was called to recover the vehicle. It is currently unclear whether the road will be closed during recovery efforts, but possible traffic restrictions are expected.
