The Berlinale is just around the corner and promises a spectacular opening night on February 13th at the Berlinale Palast. Oscar winner Tilda Swinton will be awarded the Honorary Golden Bear, an honor given to her for her contribution to the art of film. Swinton brings “so much humanity, compassion, intelligence, humor and style to cinema” and has been part of the Berlinale family since 2009. The actress was last seen in Pedro Almodóvar's “The Room Next Door”. The Berlin International Film Festival will take place this year from February 13th to 23rd, and the award ceremony will be celebrated during the opening gala Small newspaper reported.
