The city of Klagenfurt is investing a total of around 120,000 euros in the renovation and expansion of Weihergasse. The aim of this measure is to increase the safety of the traffic routes and to improve the streets. The city administration promises that the neighboring traffic is best maintained as possible during the construction work. In addition to Weihergasse, several other construction sites in Klagenfurt are also being planned.
The road will be renewed in Feschnigstrasse by October 3. Here a one -way regulation is introduced from east to west in order to facilitate construction work and not to impair the flow of traffic too. There will be selective narrow points in Großbuchstrasse until mid -October, while the main water pipe and the sewer in Moorweg will be renovated until mid -December. The road remains closed during this time, but residents are still possible.
Further construction projects in Klagenfurt
Overall, many construction sites are currently being worked on in Klagenfurt, especially in residential construction. The construction activities are expected to continue for many months.
