Luxury real estate is soaring: The top prices in Germany in 2024!
The German real estate landscape continues to boom with dizzying prices for luxury properties. According to a ranking by the real estate portal “Immowelt”, the most expensive offer of the year is a property in the celebrity town of Kampen on Sylt, which is for sale for 15.5 million euros. This thatched dream house offers ten rooms and a generous living space of 400 square meters, located directly on the picturesque Kampener Watt and surrounded by a 2985 square meter property. The enormous price underlines the ongoing trend of rising property values that can be observed in Germany in 2024, as well as the MOPO reported.
The most expensive residential properties
Second place in the ranking goes to an impressive villa in the Munich district of Obermenzing for 14.98 million euros. This luxurious New England-style property features a private cinema room, spa area and wine cellar and spans 312 square meters. In third place is another Sylt property in List, also for 14.5 million euros, which offers access to a private beach. This makes it clear that luxury properties are in demand both in urban centers and in exclusive holiday destinations such as WORLD added.
The ranking of the most expensive apartments is led by a penthouse in Berlin-Mitte, which, with a price of 15.825 million euros, even exceeds the price of the most expensive house. This luxurious apartment in the “Kronprinzen Gardens” residential area offers nine rooms and a breathtaking view of the Berlin skyline on a total of 574 square meters. Five Munich apartments are represented in this list, one of which was sold for 12 million euros. There are several top properties on the list in Hamburg, including an apartment in Harvestehude that is being offered for 10.5 million euros. These price ranges demonstrate the dominance of cities such as Berlin and Munich in the luxury segment and demonstrate the continued demand for first-class living space in Germany.
