Stuttgart fights silver in the city clerk - Munich remains unmatched!
Stuttgart, the vibrant state capital of Baden-Württemberg, has a remarkable climb in the current urban rank of "Wirtschaftswoche" and secured the silver medal! But the shadow of eternal rival Munich remains: the Bavarian metropolis enthroned again in first place and leaves Stuttgart behind. Is the city condemned to always take second place? The Cannstatter Wasen and VfB Stuttgart seem to share the fate of the runner -up championship!
In the latest edition of the ranking, which was published on November 15, Stuttgart made a place well compared to the previous year and prevailed against all other German cities. The performance in the economic output category is particularly impressive, where Stuttgart occupies pole position. The city secured third place in the highly competitive section. Mayor Frank Nopper (CDU) was optimistic about the results, but emphasized that the "Hellwache Optimism" was necessary in difficult times.
Stuttgart: Ascent to the start-up capital
Although Stuttgart did not come past Munich, the city has left other metropolises like Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne and Frankfurt. Another bright spot: According to another evaluation of the Wirtschaftswoche, Stuttgart worked up to the start-up capital of Germany and overtook hip Berlin. These developments show that the Swabian metropolis is on a very good way in many areas, even if the competition with Munich continues to exist. The question remains: can Stuttgart one day conquer first place?
