TRIGOS 2025: 18 nominations for sustainability and innovation!
The nominations for TRIGOS Austria 2025 were announced today. TRIGOS is Austria's most important award for responsible business and sustainable innovation. Since its founding, the initiative has received over 3,100 submissions and awarded 318 projects. The aim of the competition is to promote and support companies that take a leading role in the areas of responsible business and sustainability. This year's nominations were selected from 155 submissions in six different categories by a 14-member expert jury. This jury is made up of experts from business, science and civil society. The evaluation process includes pre-selection, individual evaluations and a discourse-based jury meeting, which is crucial in the selection of nominations.
The jury identified a total of 18 nominations, which are divided into six categories:

In addition, various federal ministries and institutions are involved as sponsors to promote this important initiative for sustainable business.
Submissions and engagement
The submission deadline for TRIGOS 2025 ended on March 14, 2025. In recent years, TRIGOS has repeatedly been able to mobilize numerous companies that are committed to sustainable development in six categories. These categories are consistent with the goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which emphasizes the role of the private sector in achieving sustainable development goals. An increasing commitment from business can also be observed within the framework of CSR initiatives (Corporate Social Responsibility), which have become increasingly important worldwide.
Corporate social responsibility is a central aspect of modern economic management. International standards such as the ISO 26000 guidelines or the OECD guidelines for multinational companies promote responsible behavior. These framework conditions support companies to actively participate in sustainable and social initiatives that go beyond their own economic success. In this way, companies can not only increase their competitiveness, but also make a valuable contribution to society. The TRIGOS initiative not only honors companies, but also promotes the fundamental values of responsible corporate management.
