Wirecard process: Ex-boss Braun before high penalties-judgment 2025 possible!
In the fraud process around the billion -dollar scandal of the former financial service provider Wirecard, a judgment could finally occur. According to current information from Krone , the public prosecutor plans to delete some charges against the accused in order to make the process more efficient. Prosecutor Matthias Bühring expressed himself optimistic and found that the remaining serious accusations against the three defendants were already sufficient for high penalties. Ex-wirecard boss Markus Braun in particular could expect a long-term imprisonment after he has been in custody for four and a half years.
The scandal, which was flogged in June 2020, was suddenly considered to be disappeared into trust accounts in Asia, as a fault and market manipulation. The indictment against Braun now includes a selection of serious charges after the Court of Court had suggested to focus on the most serious crimes.
