China presents the prototype for possibly the fastest high -speed train
China has presented a prototype of his next high -speed train, which is advertised as the potentially fastest train in the world. The CR450, which was presented in Beijing on December 29, achieved test speeds of up to 450 kilometers per hour and an operational speed of 400 kilometers per hour, according to the Chinese Ministry of Transport.
innovation in high-speed railway technology
After its commissioning, the CR450 could become the fastest high-speed train in the world and surpass the current CR400 model series in China, which debut in 2017 and drives 350 kilometers per hour.
outstanding performance features of the CR450
The latest prototype of the CR450 was praised by its developers, Crrc Changchun Railway Vehicles and Crrc Sifang Co., Ltd., for its outstanding properties in the operation, energy efficiency, noise control and braking performance. It has passed more than 3,000 simulations and over 2,000 platform tests to meet the strict requirements of the commercial company, reports the state -run China Daily.
Further test requirements and technical refinements
To ensure that the train corresponds to all the necessary standards for commercial operation, further tests and refinements are required, according to the China State Railway Group. In the past ten years, China has become an undisputed world market leader in the rail infrastructure by expanding thousands of kilometers of new rails that reach almost every corner of the country. The rail network extends over more than 160,000 kilometers, including over 46,000 kilometers of high -speed lines, according to the Chinese Ministry of Transport.
high speed as an alternative to the aircraft
high -speed trains have long been an effective alternative to the aircraft for traveling up to 1,100 kilometers. They combine cities and rural areas of the country with ease and comfort. Since the 1980s, hundreds of billions of dollars have been invested in new high-speed and high capacitive rail networks in Europe and Asia, which are led by Japan's Shainkansen and the French TGV (Train à Grande Vitesse).
