Radeberger Stadtbad increases admission prices: one euro more from 2025!
In Radeberg, the city council recently decided to significantly increase the admission prices for the city pool from the 2025 season. Adults will pay 4 euros in the future, an increase of 33 percent, while the price for reduced tickets increases to 3 euros, which corresponds to an increase of 50 percent. These price adjustments come after a long discussion about the need for higher fees in order to cover rising management costs, which have increased since the previous increase in 2020, such as Sächsische.de reported.
The elimination of family cards is particularly striking, which was considered necessary in order not to have to check the transitional conditions for different family constellations. Apart from the ticket prices, the annual urban subsidy to the city pool is also increased from 100,000 euros to 125,000 euros in order to avoid further financial bottlenecks. This increase has been the first adaptation since 1997 in terms of the financial situation of the city pool, such as reporting on Sächsische.de illustrated.
