Wels, Österreich - A dramatic event in Wels: A 20-year-old man from Hungary, who is under urgent suspicion of crime due to multiple attempts to murder, remains in custody until at least May 18. This was decided by the Wels public prosecutor's office after an adhesive examination hearing. According to ORF OÖ the investigation has not yet been completed, the police are waiting for a full final report. At the same time, the suspect has known himself to an extremely risky behavior that brought 20 innocent road users in mortal danger

The events took place on the night of January 31 when the man on the B1 began a wild chase with the police at Wels-West. This dangerous “amoking” ended in a serious accident in which five people were injured. The accused stated that he was afraid that there could be serious accidents, but continued his journey not to get his driver's license that has already been decreased. The vehicle he drove was also not allowed, and the license plates came from his mother's car, such as reported.

Investigations in full swing

The public prosecutor has already commissioned several reports to clarify the exact circumstances of the incident. Among other things, a traffic psychological report is expected, and the accused's cell phone was secured for analysis. Despite his arrest on February 6, the suspect also resisted the police when accessing the police and initially fled over a balcony before he was caught. We are talking about conditional killing, an enormously severe offense that could lead to further legal consequences.
