Sexual abuse: 17 young people arrested - a girl as a victim!

A shocking scandal put Vienna into the spotlight after the police arrested six young people in a large-scale campaign in February who are suspected of having sexually abused a 12-year-old girl for months. These arrests are part of an extensive investigation that revolves serious allegations such as extortion and arson. According to ORF , the accused are between 14 and 17 years old, partly priority and equipped with a migration or escape background.

The history of terror began with an amicable relationship between the female victim and one of the young people, which led to a martyrdom for years over an unknown period. The 12-year-old, who turned to her mother afterwards, reported massive attacks, which took place in different places, including a parking garage and an apartment. According to Kurier even created shots of the abuse to blackmail the girl.

Investigations and arrests

Investigators searched for several apartments on Thursday morning and took a total of 17 suspects in custody. The young people who could communicate with each other were also arrested to prevent agreements. While some suspicious information was mutually acceptable, the public prosecutor agreed that the serious allegations of sexual abuse must be taken into account.

As an expression of the devastating situation, an investigator expressed: "We have confiscated the electronic evidence, and there are clear indications of the extortion methods of the suspects." A 16-year-old resisted when he was arrested and was temporarily detained. The case evokes memories of other shocking incidents in the past, but is classified as completely independent by the investigators. The public prosecutor has emphasized that there is no evidence of drug abuse in this case.
