Heroic deed in Villach: Driver stops knife attackers and saves life!
A brave Foodora driver from Syria prevented a possible killing run in Villach on Saturday. Allaaeddin Alhalabi was on the way to pick up a meal order when he fell to two injured people and a lot of blood on the Draubrücke. He resolutely noticed a man with a folding knife on innocent stitch. "At that moment I didn't think. I just went on him to stop him," said the 42-year-old.
Meanwhile there were panic scenes; Several people hit Alhalabi's car because they thought he was involved in the attack. He blocked the vehicle and alerted the police. "According to the current state of affairs, the 42-year-old's intervention has contributed to the fact that the perpetrator could be arrested so quickly," police spokesman Rainer Dionisio told the Kleine Zeitung. Alhalabi remains modest and thinks of the victims. "I thought of my children. The boy who was located there also has parents. That was very bad for me," he added.
