A dramatic incident occurred on Monday morning on the Tauernautobahn (A10) in Upper Carinthia. At around 10.15 a.m., an attentive 58-year-old driver from the Spittal district on the Drau noticed a ghost driver who was traveling on her road. Due to her quick reaction, she was able to prevent a potential collision when she started overtaking. Immediately she informed the police about the danger that had assumed the 89-year-old driver, also from the Spittal district. Fortunately, the driver remained intact, because she acted quickly and correctly, which prevented a catastrophe how ORF Carinthia reported.
The police's alarm immediately led to the use of the Spittal Autobahn Police Inspection on the Drau. This could quickly stop and control the ghost driver.
