The perpetrators struck in Brühl, Kerpen and Frechen and stole cash. Early on Saturday morning between 3 a.m. and 3:45 a.m., unknown people entered a house on Waldstrasse in Frechen, where they stole cash unattended during the night. In Kerpen, the burglars broke into a building on Gustav-Heinemann-Strasse through a patio door between 10 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. and ransacked several rooms there, also looking for cash. Investigators from Criminal Investigation Department 13 have called on the public to remain vigilant, especially during the upcoming holidays.
